William Prescott began his acting training at Sixteenth Street in 2012, continuing with a strong focus and belief in consistent ongoing study at Q44 Theatre Company. He is trained in the Lee Strasberg Method technique, this training has included ongoing vocal coaching from renowned Australian teacher Suzanne Heywood.
Most recently William has appeared in ABC’s Time of Our Lives and Glitch, as well as Sam Shepard’s Fool for Love and David Rabe’s Hurlyburly. He has also appeared in over 10 films, including 2 features to be released in 2017.
Over the past 4 years, William has lent his voice to some of Australia’s top campaigns, including Mazda, NAB, 7/11, Victorian Government and was the voice of an MSO campaign nominated for a Siren Award in 2016.
William is best known for his warm, conversational, friendly yet authoritative reads, but is also a highly skilled impressionist who can do any required character voice for a given brief.
